Your information.
Handled with care.
This notice explains how Luxure Academy uses personal information when someone enquires, buys, studies, attends practical training or completes an assessment.
Who controls your data
Luxure Collective Ltd, trading as Luxure Academy, is the data controller. Registered office: 23 Stag Green Avenue, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England, AL9 5EB. Privacy requests may be made through student support or sent in writing to the registered office.

Why we use it
We use information to take steps before a contract and perform the training contract; comply with legal obligations; operate, secure and improve the academy; protect learners, clients and Luxure's legitimate interests; handle complaints and legal claims; and communicate about the course. Marketing is sent only where the law permits, and a person may opt out at any time.
Health information is special-category data. Where it is necessary, Luxure will identify both a UK GDPR Article 6 lawful basis and an Article 9 condition—for example explicit consent for a specific optional disclosure, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims where applicable. A learner should not provide unrelated clinical information.
Who receives it
Information may be shared only as needed with service providers supporting secure sign-in, site hosting, course delivery, communications, payment processing and professional advice. Square and Clearpay process payment information under their own notices. Luxure may disclose information to insurers, accreditation or awarding bodies, regulators, law enforcement or professional advisers where authorised or required. Luxure does not sell personal information.
Retention and security
Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for course delivery, certification verification, safeguarding, complaints, tax, insurance, accreditation and legal obligations. Different records have different retention periods. Access is limited, and reasonable technical and organisational controls are used. No internet service can promise absolute security.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, Luxure will use an approved transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful safeguard and assess the protection provided.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, a person may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Rights are not absolute where law requires or permits records to be kept. Identity may be verified before a request is completed. A concern may also be raised with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
